Palliative Single Point of Access (pSPA) single number 24/7

As part of the ongoing development of palliative services, we would like to share that we now have a truly ‘Single Point of Access’ with a single telephone number for all Palliative and End of Life patients across Lincolnshire.

This number is: 0300 123 4868 & then press 9.

This means an easier and simplified telephone access for urgent nursing, care, advice and support, for both patients and their families or carers by having a single number 24/7.

Patient who has been recognised as Palliative and/or nearing End of Life should be added to Palliative register by their GP or specialist Palliative Care Team as part of the Gold Standards Framework (GSF). Those palliative patients should all have access to the palliative Single Point of Access (pSPA) the telephone number for this is on the pSPA 'Green Card'. The phone number gives 24/7 access for urgent nursing, care advice and support.
