Project ECHO

St Barnabas Hospice has been commissioned to deliver 14 Project ECHO Networks across Lincolnshire encompassing PCNs, ULHT. Care Homes and Domiciliary Care  The overarching topic of these networks is Improving Outcomes for People in Palliative and End of Life Care.

What is Project ECHO?

Project ECHO is a key enabler to embedding transformational change, in a wide range of topics, through the development of knowledge networks that facilitate interprofessional trust and collaboration resulting improved outcomes for the people in our care.

Why is Project ECHO needed?

The healthcare system is much stronger when everyone works together. With increasing pressures on resources, St Barnabas is using Project ECHO to support other healthcare professionals in their area of expertise.

Through Project ECHO, we want to increase the knowledge and confidence of local healthcare professionals to support and manage their patients and residents in primary and social care.

The benefit of Project ECHO is that it breaks down traditional barriers by using video conferencing software. This means that sessions can be delivered without time and travel restraints and can be saved to refer back to.
