The Five Priorities for Care of the Dying Person (Adult) Lincolnshire Guidelines

Following the withdrawal of the Liverpool Care Pathway (LCP) a national coalition of organisations called the Leadership Alliance for the Care of Dying People (LACDP, 2014) published national guidance in the ‘One Chance to get it Right’ document. This document set out the approach that all organisations caring for dying patients should follow and recommended the implementation of five priorities for care of the dying person.
